Connecticut’s largest owner of warehouses has increased its footprint by 460,000 square feet in South Windsor.
According to the town’s assessor’s office, Winstanley acquired a 292,000-square-foot dry-goods distribution center, 135 Sullivan Ave., occupied by Mobis Parts of America for more than $23.1 million. It also paid $21 million for a 168,000-square-foot cold-storage distribution center, 175 Sullivan Ave., leased to Performance Food Group Inc. Officials say the warehouses, sitting on more than 30 acres, will continue to operate as is with Winstanley as the new landlord.
